While board owners and staff members tell us to wait, it takes time, there will be light at the end of the tunnel (when they respond at all to complaints), participants in the Houston board still get stalked, harrassed, slandered, insulted - our privacy exposed - by small cliques of people, at least one of whom appears to be pathological, and therefore potentially dangerous.

The bad reputation of Houston is well established, I don't need to dwelve at length on it. Just one link and quote will suffice to illustrate the problem. It is by the pathological one, the so-called Wayward.

And if it only takes strip joint bouncers a few seconds to kick out "gentlemen" who commit indecencies against dancers, then I fail to see why people here should require so much time and time and yet more time to rid us of the vermin and finally allow informative Houstonians to participate without harrassment.

I got griped at when I did a review of a lady and the review was not exactly like the cookie cutter version they had as an example. I did not put any comments in the ROS section since I do not have access to read others I felt I would describe the fun I had.

A MOD got on my case and told me to re-write it..... this is not English class and I was not turning in a book report.

Let's put all the cards on the table and I mean all of them, see if that light at the end of the tunnel is a train wreck. I'll start, went to lunch about a month ago, with a knobbyist that was getting some heck down at the port for maybe not being exactly a male and perhaps one of sofia's (Raphael's mistress and the puller of his strings, she's sort of horrible but we'll get to that later on trust me) thincking that a little off board face to face would provide some bonding. We like to bond down at the port and most of the regular posters know one another and have for many years. So having lunch with someone isn't really a big deal. So we have lunch and it's no big deal, except later the hobbyist tells me that sofia is blackmailing him, forcing him to obtain information on other providers and hobbyists. Personal info, where they work, marital status and so on.

This becomes quite involved and ugly but that is another story, so a few days ago Father Wayward the inoccent fluff ball of SHMB land starts getting these PMs from sofia's handle of the moment jasmin, they have all sorts of personal data about me, my wife, my kids, their cell phones and so on. Which would have most knobbyists pissing blood, but my wife knows, besides she has a showcase on eccie and I've already turned out one of my daughters, my son is running some girls in Galveston ... not really but the truth is even funnier so let's go with this small bit of poetic license for now.

Raphael would you like to keep going because this is getting to be kind of a turn on for me?

C'mon, Raph! I offered to write my Congressman if you could just tell me who got lynched (a term now synonymous with "banned from SHMB" due to its comparative egregiousness) at the hands of who/whom - as opposed to their own stupidity in posting - present company included. You couldn't or wouldn't do so.

I offered to organize a March on Washington so the voting populus could become better aware of the egregious transgressions cast upon you, and the disparate treatment you've received at the hands of the eccie-ites.

You would think that another board would court ralphie. Surely the massive amount of hobby knowledge he possesses would give him instant mod status, with ultimate authority over membership. I would not be suprised if an enterprising board owner would pay him to post on their board. An "ask ralphie" forum would be a mega-hit.

While we're at it I'd like to know how sofia keeps getting banned but is always here. Who is protecting her? What mod has she got something on or is doing to be allowed
to remain on the board and raise hell with the ladies and guy's.

The subject is the constant abuse heaped on Houston by a small clique of mostly unproductive participants
