Florida, where about 1/4 of the population is 65+, had a Covid death rate nowhere near tops in the nation. It was middle of the pack, nearly identical to New York and Pennsylvania, who put far more draconian measures in place. The Desantis model should’ve been followed nationally. Judging by the electoral ass raping of Charlie Crist, the people of Florida certainly think he did it right.

And it looks like the people of Florida loved how Gov DeSantis kept the free state of Florida open during Covid, didn't force vaccine mandates on people and let people make their own informed choice

Once again, the people of Florida had a chance just a few months ago to weigh in on just how well Ron DeSantis is doing and whether they support his policies (on medicaid, covid, CRT, schools, etc). And they re-elected DeSantis as Governor by the largest margin in 40 years !!!
