"Bust" websites

I'm fairly new to the hobby, and have tried to be as careful as possible about making sure I only respond to ads that are posted by legit/safe providers. This usually entails googling names/numbers/pics, and making sure I can find reviews. However, sometimes when I search, I get results back for escortpolice.com and escortbust.com. Typically these sites will list dates and locations of busts, as well as numbers associated with the allegedly busted provider. Sometimes they will include links to copied-pasted ads by providers. Does anybody know if these sites are legit? I'd hate to think I missed out on some good times because I got scared off by one of these sites.

Thanks!

Many of those sites try to appear legitimate, but are hustling the ladies to get them to pay to take down their information. Interesting business idea, and some ladies must actually pay or the web sites would dry up and go away. I've never liked extortion, but since the ladies business isn't exactly legit, they can't go to LE. Another case for sex worker rights.

Good that you are taking screening seriously. After a while, you will develop instincts as to who has legitimate history, etc. There are several threads here on screening as well as other sites that can give you good advice.

But, the best way to ensure good deals is to stay away from BP. Too much risk. Stay with only legitimate verified provider sites like eccie, P411, Date-Check and others. The good news is you have already seen a lady that is both on here and P411, and she can help you get on P411.

Happy and safe hobbying!

Those sites are complete scams. If you follow the links, you will end up on a sex site like adult friend finder. They have no real info about busts.

It's just an elaborate scam to get you to sign up for dating sites.
I'm with the others on this one. If it were legit why would the cops publicly post this information? Also, why would they offer the ladies a chance to get their information removed?
