not only are they impersonating us, now they are impersonating clients as well!

We ladies have been having issues with this texescorts.com site stealing our photos and information for a while now.

I found my information on this site a while back and asked for them to remove my information and photos from their site. I pretty much got a tough luck response.

Last night they had the nerve to send me an email saying "you have a new champion" I went to do a search on my name there and found this "review" http://www.texescorts.com/JulesJaguar340420 The date was 7/1/11 I did not even see this client until 7/4/11... I double checked with the client and he said he did not post anything of me on that site. There are also two other "phantom" reviews of me on there as well.

I just wanted to make everyone aware of the fact that this site is stealing all of our information. The pics they have of me are old ones from last year. I wonder what we can do to stop this from happening. I for one find it very disturbing.
well, i can't get any results without registering - and eff that.

I guess I need to try and let my browser search the site itself.

I use to have my name show up on new sites all the time - and yes, with old pics and old info. I did bug the bejesus out of them until my info was gone, but it's nearly impossible to keep up with how many there are - when they will steal your bio info and copy and paste it on there to make it look like it really is you.
You're not the only one that has that problem! those sites act as if the provider posted the ad to make thereselves seem like a popular escort site. i hate that my photos are there too.

its easy to take down a backpage ad. and allow our post to slip to the back on eccie but those ads they put up on sites like that are forever there until they take them down. its so messed up! but hey! what can u do?
just found myself on there too - they stole the showcase on here and pasted it there. (even has old contact info.)

email about to be sent.

OH, and thanks for this thread. I just found myself saying that I escaped from the rural life of texas to go to some place in Colorado.
And I prefer email contact - yet, I've always posted a phone number on my ads.....but they stole everything else I say about myself.

stupid shady scammers. UGH

Yes many sites are doing this, had the same problem with Netchixx. Maggie does something I am getting ready to do as well. Post on your website who you advertise with and anyone else that is advertising your information has clearly stole your information.
I don't do business with sites that snatch and grab my information.

yeah I knew they were stealing our info but now they are stealing the clients as well, so i wanted to make this post so everyone is aware that they are a total scam! If a client has to go utr due to S/O finding out or something to that nature their info may still be on that other site.

Send them a DMCA takedown notice, also known as a Notification of Infringement ("NOI").
I'd also send a copy to the OSP that owns and operates their servers (if they don't do it themselves). The OSP has the most to loose by not complying, and if they get enough of these at once, they may drop the site's account.

I don't know many OSPs ISPs that can afford to loose safe harbor status by ignoring one of these.

Here's a link to how this works and why.

here's a link to a form letter to fill out and send.

Make it look professional, and send it to the webmasters, and the OSP.

They do the rest. I have seen this work many times, when nothing else did.

They are REALLY uncooperative and downright rude. You can see an example of what I'm talking about, in the following thread. Max posted some of her dialog with them, and they even respond as "roxescorts" on page two:

..not sure what to tell the guys, but the ladies who want to try to do something about it, search texescorts in the PR. Good luck!

If they are now copying reviews posted on this website perhaps the owners of eccie should respond. It isn't just the ladies, it is copying content owned by this website.

Has anyone official from eccie ever attempted to make the same demand? I wonder if they would respond differently if it was someone they knew was better financially backed?

Ladies,

Put a watermark on your photos that say "FUCK YOU texescorts.com" or "texescorts.com is a bunch of scamming thieves"

See if they want to steal those.
