Destination places?

Are there any destination places anymore in Texas like the old chicken ranch in grange. I have some vacation time coming and I want to use it wisely.

Is boys town in Nuevo Laredo still active? Even of it is, is it safe with all the border trouble?

I think it's just called Dallas now.
