Wake up Albany!!!

VB, had touched on it before. Where are the Albany/HV Members?! Everyone was all for splitting the region, and now that its happened, it's become a Dead Zone. I realize things are a little more conservative in this area, but seriously! Is there even a heartbeat?!

When this idea was first thrown out there, I was not in favor of splitting upstate. I've been on many boards over the years and for some reason the Albany area has always been a dead zone. It's too bad, but its a reality. There are only a couple of guys and gals that have been posting here, and lots of people lurking.....just take a look at how many are viewing the threads. Some of you guys need to start contributing! I've been on many boards where the established members pounce on the newbies. I don't think you need to worry about that here because there are so few established members and none seem to be the a-hole type. Come on people, I know some of you are getting laid, lets hear about it!

This thread is only an hour old and shows 20 people have viewed.....Okay, two hours, but still..
Many escorts ask that NO reviews be posted about them . And there are many Albany members out here who enjoy meeting women, but for their own reasons choose NOT to write reviews.I myself have been a member of this site and others for many years and have in the past posted reviews. I now continue to see escorts, some on this site and some not on any site, BUT have chosen not to review anyone.
I agree that it feels kinda dead... But I do like how it's easier to find Albany stuff

I say let's switch back to the Upstate board!

Doesn't matter to me, I think I'm the only member from the Lower Hudson Valley.

Yes, this board is a little slow, but I like the fact that it makes it a lot easier to find out information about the Albany region without having to filter through other upstate information. I think we should give it a year or so to grow.
I don't understand the concern with the split?! What is the problem???

As far as I'm concerned, the split is ONLY a positive, as it makes it MUCH easier to find local information. Living in Albany, what do I care about Rochester? And visa versa ...

Why the concern? Information relevant to the area is being exchanged. The slowness is a reflection of the pace of the area. One can still venture to other boards to pick up on the drama etc. I hope that in the coming months that more area providers join this board. Maybe then activity would pick up.

One of the main issues I find, from talking with other providers who are not a member of this board, is that they do not want the detail in the reviews that are mandated here. I have talked 2 ladies into joining this board only to have them leave because of the detail in the reviews. Right or wrong, many have been told that a detailed review could be used against them if they are busted for anything. From a evidence point of view, I don't agree, but perception is one's own reality, so if they don't want it, they stay away. I must say, we have not picked up any drama or BS here and god, I don't miss it. Like everything, some more time is necessary to make a proper evaluation.

Hey being kind of a new mbr and having only 3 reviews so far I have found that it is a good thing to have the split as so far it has helped me in the local area. It is so much easier to only view info the local area with out going thru all the BS that we had to go thru before. Time will tell and it can only get better if all the local mbr's share info wheather it be good news or bad we need to know so we all can play safe/.

Happy to see all the participation in this Thread.
It seemed like the same Thread would sit for days, and no one would respond.
As for drama and BS, this area has never been a breeding ground for such things. Thank God!
I was not referring to any specific area of this Board. I have heard many of the same complaints about the requirements for Reviews. It is almost intrusive the amount of detail that is mandated. For that reason, many choose to not write them.

I, for one, don't write many reviews. Usually only if the provider requests me to....not that I don't want to share because I appreciate some of the reviews to help me in selecting providers that I think I would feel comfortable with. I'm just not that comfortable writing them myself. I tend not to participate too much in other threads as well because I simply don't have the time ....same reason I don't use Facebook or other social media.....
I like this area being separated from "Upstate"....I think eventually folks will become more active. Even if they don't...I like being able to focus on Albany/ Hudson Valley only since I really don't have any interest in other areas of the State personally. Just my 2 cents.....
Thanks Autumn for starting this thread.....good "conversation".......
