Best SOUP recipe, or SOUP cookbook....

Hello everyone, it's that time of year again where we all crave soup!

Please chime in and tell me who has the best in town or post your own wonderful favorites, ever favorite cookbooks.

Please be sure to include LOTS of asian favorites, MMMMMM!

Cutlers (aka Houstons), has the 2nd best tortilla soup in town. I make the BEST.

The Tomato Basil soup at La Medeleine is my absolute favorite!



And you can take it home with you...

I add peanut butter and Tabasco sauce to tomato soup for a rich spicy treat.

My house this past month has had the aroma of some wonderful soups cooking.

Homemade Potato soup with fresh kale.
Spicy Mexican Chicken soup.
Homemade Bean & bacon soup.
And just this week a piping hot pot of sweetly spiced Butternut Squash soup.

My kitchen is my domain! Always something good cooking.
Next on the menu is the tender deer roast.

Guy food:

can of chicken broth
can of Rotel tomatoes
can of black beans
can of Mexican or southwest corn
rotisserie chicken chopped up

Stir ingredients together. Heat.

I really like the tortilla soup at Chuy's.

I've got a fantastic recipe for cream of mushroom soup. Five different kinds of mushrooms and lots of cream and butter.
