Strap on toy play & concerns ?

I just bought a small butt plug
and small dildo that can be used
in a strapon harness. the question
is, how do I clean or sterilize these
toys without breaking the soft plastic?

Hot soapy water with 30% bleach solution works, the dishwasher or boiling for any period of time will ruin them.

Maybe the dishwasher won't "ruin" them, I can't say i've tried it!! LOL

I've got more dildos than dishes being washed in my dishwasher right now.
It kills all bacteria. Try it.

I would suggest getting steel, glass or medical grade silicone toys so that you can sterilize them through boiling. They're more expensive, but much better made and are built to last.

I use very hot water, anti bacterial soap then follow up with an alcohol rinse.

I know this falls into the way tooooo gross category, but i let another provider "borrow" some of my toys. I accidentally left them at her place. when I got them back the were stained so badly I HAD to throw them out and buy new ones. It was OBVIOUS that she had not covered them during usage.


This blew my mind that someone with what I thought was a good understanding of common hygiene would do such a thing…..NOT cover a toy during usage on….who knows how many asses.

Needless to say I was so appalled by the condition of my toys on their return, I THREW them in the trash.

Does this make ME weird for being such a neat freak?

a big concern,
some strong
chemicals could
deteriorate the
delicate plastic.
These are small
and a regular
Condom could
easily slide off.
I will still use
a condom and
hope for the
best.

Use liquid dishwashing soap and cold water to remove the lube then spray with Clorox Clean Up Cleaner + Bleach. It comes in a spray bottle and disinfects everything. Is used in medical laboratories to clean up hazardous spills. Works instantly. Then rinse.

For small small toys or using fingers during prostate play i recommend finger cots
