What's the deal with the stupid pop ad that won't go away?

I was reading this review:

Instead of opening the girl's page, it opens the sinful arrangement ad in a pop up window: what the fuck? It shouldn't even do that... I have an ad pop up blocking program!!
So I close it and click on it again and the ad opens again. I close the ad again and click on it again and the ad opens again!!
A dozen more times I tried to go to the girl's page and every time it opens the stupid ad!! So I ended up copy the girl's page link and paste it into a new Firefox tab and it opened it without opening the ad.

Also how does it open the ad? The ad link is this: http://7sinfularrangements.com/index...viceID=DESKTOP The girl's page link is this http://www.eccie.net/member.php?u=365630 How does clicking on it changes it from http://www.eccie.net/member.php?u=365630 to http://7sinfularrangements.com/index...viceID=DESKTOP ? Looks very very suspicious as if there is an adware or redirect trojan embedded into the website.

On my tablet, with a pop up blocker turned on, I frequently get that 7 sinful arrangements pop up as well.

Pop up controller will help stop it, it's an ad-on if you use Firefox. Sites you visit if you allow pop ups the red box will turn green. But if you come here, click the little box to be red and it will block those damn pop ups. That and use ad blocker

I do use that ad-on on my Firefox and it blocks everything on other sites except this one.
