Can't wait to go back. Can't believe how cheap flights are right now. I got tickets for 116 round trip houston to San diego. I'll be there the 17th thru 20th if any one wants to get a beer.

You should of joined me and got them for Monday and Tuesday. Less crowded and 80 % off suites. I’m leaving from Houston on the 11th. Mine was for 125 but only cuz I wanted to return in the afternoon.

Sunday and Monday nights are spent in the zona and then I leave around noon on Tuesday (after a morning romp) for my nonstop flight back to KC. Great 3 1/2 day vacation!

If you plan to take the trolley down to the border. Make sure you arrive before 11:45pm because that’s when the last trolly leaves from plaza America station. I arrived just after but luckily For me there was a driver waiting there and I spilt the fare with two other guys that were on the 992 bus with me. Another thing make sure when you exit the airport DO NOT go over the pedestrian bridge. That will only lead you to ride share and rental shuttle bus pick up. Instead just walk straight outside and you will see the red MTS sign outside to the right where the 992 bus takes you to downtown plaza America trolley station. I missed the bus the first time because I followed the signs to the bridge that said ground transportation. Also you will need exact change in cash for the 992. $2.50

Does that make it less than $5 for a one way trip from the airport to the border?

I don't think so. It just means you don't have to have exact change in cash. A day pass is cheaper than lots of one way trips if you are sightseeing in San Diego or something, but for two one-way trips to the border and back it's probably the same.
