It's a glorious day for America

The anti-American USA woke women's soccer team has been eliminated and Megan Rapinoe is the cause of it. What a fucking glorious day

Not only did the anti-American WOKE woman's soccer team lose today. This American hating bitch Megan Rapinoe missed a penalty kick that would have sealed the win for the USA. It doesn't get any better than this

She could be pretty if she tried, definitely has the body for it. Grow some hair, cover the prison tattoos, a little rouge and a cute sundress would work wonders.

She seems a tad confused

How un-American to cheer for the lost of our national women's soccer team in the World Cup. It's sickening and repulsive just because nobody is allowed to have a voice that differs from what they believe.
... How 'bout me-own opinion there, mate?

Do I get a say-so?

... I surely made me comments over in the National Sandbox,
where there's a World Cup thread.

... I didn't call the shameful LOSS there either sickening
or repulsive... Just shameful. ...

And maybe even more "shameful" that the pretty-birds from Sweden
surely seem to have more respect for the American National Anthem
than the USA cows do.

How Sad...

Raponie is a disgusting entitled loud mouth. I'm glad they lost as well.
It's only soccer, who cares

So am I.
I don’t like mixing a lot of things with Politics and definitely not sports.
Women’s USA team needs to rethink this, represent your country with pride or not at all.
... Well, surely reckon there's ways to go-about making
yer protests and what-not without pissing on the flag.

Just sayin' ....

Pissing on the flag is protected speech
I have to admit I agree with the Trumpers on this. If you are representing the USA on one of our teams then you better show respect for the Country or be banned from the team.
And Salty you are in the United States, you are a citizen, it's soccer here, quit acting like a privileged immigrant.

The fact is that the US Women’s Soccer team has accomplished something truly remarkable.

They have somehow managed to make a large part of the country they are supposed to represent cheer against them & celebrate their failure.

Show some respect for the country you represent and focus on one thing and one thing only, being the best at the sport.

That's a stay in your lane argument. Apply your standards across the board then.

Athletes, Musicians, Actors, Artists, Writers. Creators of any type. Go create. Go perform. Stay 100% apolitical. Stay silent. Do what I want you to do for MY entertainment.

You have liberals and conservatives and a whole pile of opinions in between from people who express themselves. No one says you need to agree with their speech.

Simply respect it. Even if it's offensive. Distasteful. Boo them like they're heels, if need be.

What you want isn't decorum or even respect... it's silence. Silence so that you can comfortably enjoy things you like without being confronted by the things you don't. And when confronted by what you don't you'll pretend you're being assaulted by it. That it's being thrust and forced upon you. Shoved down your throats. Because you find the viewpoints uncomfortable. Because you find them unpatriotic. Because you feel they're wrong. Possibly evil. Because you can't separate the performance from the person. They sure were good as long as they stayed silent and goosestepped to your whims.

It's not just about you. But that's the reality of wanting silence.

It cuts both ways. Keep your politics out of out of our schools. Our libraries. Our bakeries. Our swimming pools. Our favorite shows. Our radio. Our music. And on and on and on. Then all of a sudden dancing is forbidden and there's no Kevin Bacon to save us from John Lithgow's overbearing need for conformity. Where what started from a desire for comfort and security breeds rebellion because it stifles a core tenet of humanity.

Respect for our country and its ideals means different things to different people.

If you want to fight culture wars, that's a war on all fronts. You reap what you sow, here.

This country is divided enough with politics to allow it to carry over to things we pay to see to get away from all of the worlds problems.
