First time in Dallas

I'll be visiting Dallas this coming Monday (6/17-6/21). Dallas is pretty big so I'm not sure where to get a room at. Any suggestions? I would appreciate it.

Since I do not live in Dallas I'm definitely no expert, but I'll offer my perspective. The Galleria area seems to be a bustling ad convenient to get to neighborhood. I've also done well staying just a few miles East of the Galleria, off of 635. Have a safe and fun visit.
