That's right... many a name to describe ladies in the hobby. But for some reason the word "WHORE" to me is offensive. In my little mind I reserve that word for the heartless cheating woman in this world. They indiscriminately fuck men regardless of the subsequent consequences. They fuck just to fuck and money has nothing to do with their actions in most cases. One might say they just like sex! I say BS they are heartless cunts and I have zero respect for them. Now on the other hand ladies in the hobby are sex for hire....I'm stating that as "fact" simply because when was the last time you scheduled a session and it was free?

There are ladies here that refer to themselves as "whores". They very well might be. That's their call. But when guys call "providers" WHORES.... well I just think that's offensive.

Let the games begin!

It is strange because I had one girl call herself a whore, and I didn't like it. I guess I shouldn't have taken offense because it was her terminology not mine, and I didn't say anything to her, but it just didn't sit right with me.

I like professional sex counselor... Helping men (and women) work through potential issues and expand their sexual prowess...

Or, you can always rely on the definition that Michael Keaton gives in "Night Shift..."

SL, you do understand that this is YOUR problem, yes?

One of my favorite quotes comes to mind:
"Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen." (Albert Einstein)

Also, words cannot hurt me but actions can.

We all have words that sound offensive to us, but they are only words.

WHY is everybody so sensitive?
There seems to be a "bad" word in every profession, race, gender, tribe, state, nation for something or the other.
They are used to get a reaction, to set something off. You can turn that around and disappoint the offender by reacting in the exact opposite way he/she expects you to. Try that a few times. It's FUN. (just don't get hurt, lol).

The words that I don't like, I try to avoid using, but I will use them when they apply.

and I agree with you the word whore does NOT apply to the vast majority of the Ladies here.
I like HOOGAR
You forgot

wench
(godless) Harlot
(shameless) Hussy
(saucy little)Tart
Woman of loose morals and ill repute (my personal favorite)

All of the above, and whore is included, can be delicious in the right setting, or cruel. Its all about context. I love leaning into a man's ear and whispering "I'm a dirty little whore" in his ear before giving his earlobe a little flick with my tongue. When used for dirty talk, I love all of the above. It is only when words like whore are thrown out as an epithet that the word becomes dirty or hurtful, and even then, it is up to the person being labeled to decide if it the word hurts or not. For my part, it amuses me when someone calls me a whore with the expectation that I will be offended.

I'm a whore. Simple as that. Not only am I a whore, I'm a damned good one and I love it.

See playing the color card already - typical, then lets play the religion card, then politics card, then nations card, then whatever.

That was my point. There is always a word that when used is used to get a reaction. I have my words that set me off as well, not criticizing here at all.

But by reacting the way the offender wants you to react to it, unfortunately, your brothers/sisters/Reps/Dems/gays/whores/whoever are just confirming the stereotype.

Actually that is what is sad about it.

Will it change? No, I still react the same way, but at least I am semi conscious about it or, if it gets really bad, unconscious for a while.
