Visibility

Just posted a reply to post publicly but tried to add a private part within. I pressed private and the xml tags showed up, so I thought what I type between the tags would be private. When I viewed my post again, the private text appears public with the private tags on either side. Is that just how I see it as the poster and everyone else sees it as a private box within the public box?

It didn’t work, it’s public for all to see.

I don’t know Big b.o.b.1, just checked again and now it appears in a private box as I expected it should. Don’t know why it looked like it did before. Anyway, all good!
