Did you have insurance/extended warranty on it?

Did you buy it new or used?

If you bought it new, it will still under warranty:

If it's an Apple product, they may be able to help you get a new phone.

I had an iPad that I had for 2 years which I purchased it new, the warranty had expired, I didn't buy extended Apple warranty and coverage on it.

One day it started acting up, it wouldn't respond correctly to anything I touch or move on the screen with my finger.

I took it to an Apple store and they looked at it and ran tests on it and they gave me a brand new iPad, newer model than what I had, for free and with the warranty on it starting back at Zero Day.

Who is your phone carrier: T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, Verizon?

Check with them - they all have plenty of pre-owned Smartphones for sale and if you have a credit history with them, you can get one at installment costing you nothing but the price of a protective case.

I would settle for a older model phone and be back online asap but that's just me.
