Leslie Nielsen, an actor beloved for his clueless straight-man roles in "Airplane!," "The Naked Gun" and "Police Squad," died Sunday in a Fort Lauderdale hospital.
He was 84. He died of complications from pneumonia, said his publicist David Kramer.

He had a great sense of humor. As loveable, bumbling Frank Dreiben Police Squad, he became the American Inspector Clouseau.
