Best golf courses in South Texas

I usually play in SA, DFW area, and Austin. It's just been too hot down here to enjoy a round. Max in Laredo has been my favorite in South Texas and others I have enjoyed have been Palm View, Los Lagos and Tierra Santa. I haven't played at all in the Harlingen/Brownsville (excepy Valley Internation CC) area or Corpus as well. Which are some courses I should look into? Palmilla in Port A looks like a fun track.

North shore in Portland or CC CC are nice. Sinton was nice too

Actually Sinton is disappointing. Lozano has excellent greens - same company that manages The MAX in Laredo. North Shore has too many traps and no trees. If you like the wind then it's for you. Palmilla is probably the best
