Just do whatever makes you feel most comfortable. You can always park in the larger parking lot with all the other cars, if you don't mind a little extra walk.

Every time we have a substantial rain it floods on the side of the building and they can not park there. I wouldn’t worry about staring another horn dog in the face. If small chit chat ensues then I tell them I am Chung!!!!
