This board has a weird obsession with "protecting" Cici's shop. Evidently a review site should not have reviews (which is a different discussion entirely but one that I assume ECCIE have a very obvious stance on).



I am still suspicious that the guy who apparently talked to Cici on the regular and even mentioned someone else buying the shop was the male name that was on the phone number for a month or so and he is terrified and actively browbeating anyone who mentions it. But I increasingly think it is just some regulars who are angry that they don't have an awesome service to themselves.


Either way, there are some regulars who go out of their way to harass anyone who even acknowledges it exists at this point. Which is REAL tiring.




As for "there is too much heat": I haven't heard anything beyond the string of shutdowns a few months back that led to the shop temporarily (or permanently with new ownership?) closing. Everything seems business as normal. Also, the lady who has been known to rawdog half the state is still operating with no interruptions all throughout and she is just as easy for an investigation to find as Cici.


The reality is: Treat it like any other parlor (speaking of, how long have the big names been operating with no real issues?). If comms get weird, walk away until someone takes one for the team. And consider doing a lap around the block to see if there are any cop cars parked by.
