Eccie is getting more popular.

This is not a good thing.

The reason it's not a good thing is because it draws attention to the board, and it compromises the ability for both hobbyists and providers to have meaningful exchanges.

As a result, I think Eccie should place tighter requirements for premium access.

I also think that more topics should be "Premium Access Only".

So, the feedback that I think would be helpful is:

If Eccie were to increase the review count necessary to gain premium access, how many reviews should it take. I think 5 is a good number.

What topics should be exclusively for premium access?
Here are the topics I think should be available to everyone, regardless of level of commitment:

Welcome and Introductions
The Sandbox

All other topics should be for Premium Members and Verified Providers. People who are not premium members should only be able to post reviews. or post in The Sandbox. If they want to know who are some good providers, they should take the same risks we all had to take...they should jump on backpage and then write a review.

I think it hurts Eccie to be so easily accessible. A tighter community would benefit all parties involved.

Thoughts?

And more attention to the board is a double edged sword, depends on where that attention is coming from.
