LIST THE FUCKING SPECIALS, LADIES!!!!

I'm so pissed with ladies posting that they're having specials, but then they don't list the special.

Dammit ladies, you have your signature line where you can list your special. You can list it in your showcase. There's even a "special" provider specials area in the showcase. All of the above can be edited or removed later. You can list your special rate in your ad with a time limit, but you can't edit it out later.

I don't want to have to ask your special rate. Too damn many ladies think that just asking means you're making a commitment. Also, your special might tempt me if I knew what it was, but if I have to go hunting for the info, send you a message, have time to think about it, etc., I'm a lot less likely to still be interested once you get back to me.

We're dumb guys with short attention spans. Tell me now, not later.

Geez, I'm turning into a grumpy old man.

Seriously ladies post all specials in your ad or showcase. I don't feel like asking for your rate every time you say you have a special.

I agree.... They are called ads, short for advertisements. I don't want to have to do additional work (calling, emailing, looking on another site) to find the info. That is why there is an ads section, to advertise availability and rates. How many people will look online or in a paper for an ad and would actually call or go to another site to find out what the special is? That is bad advertisement and bad advertisement loses you business.

Another thing, if you say you have specials, please make sure they are "specials". I am in no means telling the ladies how much their time is worth but 150/hh or 250/hr is far from a special. There are select ladies that I have specials with and they truly are specials, and I take advantage of those specials. When I either see that there is no info on the special or when the special is far from being special, I move on, because it is not worth it.
"Specials" without info are nothing more than teaser ads to get you to call. No different than used car lots offering guaranteed "Special deals" if you come down to the lot.

Half of the providers probably make it up as they go.

Not sure if y'all agree that GG is a grumpy old man .... BUT

He's right about listing your special rates right there and right then.
There are many ladies out there, and when I am on a hunt to maximize price/performance I am not going to bother to go much beyond your Ad and showcase (well Reviews of course).

I can also tell you that I met 4 "new to me" ladies this way, because they listed their special right there and zoom I was in in no time.

For once the ffireman agrees too. It is awkward to ask for the special but seeing it on your showcase or on your ad helps out. Just my 2cents
+1

I always assumed that it was related to the old Eccie policy of not putting any prices on ads. When first implemented, no mention of price was allowed at all and you had to contact the lady to find out what they were or look them up on P411. Then they started creeping back into showcases, and then later into their sig lines.

I don't keep up with the rules that apply to the ladies, so I don't know when or if that policy changed. I just got used to looking the ladies up on P411. If it is allowed then saving that extra step helps a lot, especially if they don't update their P411 profile with the special rates.

I never believe there is a special unless i can see it in writing.

hence why the tactic will not work with unless i start to see people offering a an actual special within the add.

Short version: I agree
