Nashville - Areas to Stay?

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am planning a trip to your fair city the week of May 15th. I am wondering what the most convenient location would be for those who might visit me. West, downtown, airport? Are there any factors for traffic, parking, etc. that I need to be aware of?

Your thoughts on this matter would be truly appreciated.

Brentwood is about 10 miles south of downtown and is indeed the location of choice. You'll find many good hotel and entertainment choices in the Cool Springs area.
