ProDommes Outside of Dallas

AR has many posts and reviews from folks in Dallas. It appears most are from Texas and neighboring states. Dommes from Austin, Houston & San Antonio contribute to the postings which makes it seem like Texas is a hot bed of kink!

I'm curious how many have sought ProDomme services outside of the area mentioned above and how do ProDommes outside of this area compare? I don't see many reviews posted in this forum outside of this geographic arena.

I am a ProDomme that travels between several states. I do not advertise much on this site as a ProDomme (but yes for fetish friendly) bc I don't want to confuse my GFE clients and I certainly don't want my submissive clients to get the wrong impression. To me, it is best to keep the two worlds separate and since I can't have two handles here, I do it by keeping the advertising separate. I know many ProDommes in FL, NY, TX, and NJ (the areas I travel) who feel the same way. One put it to me this way "I'm not a prostidomme, i'm a prodomme so why would I advertise on an escort board?". I understand where she is coming from but also completely understand why ProDommes find eccie to be a valuable resource.
There are quite a few resources outside of this board for ProDommes to advertise and eccie has their biggest markets in and around TX so I think that's why you find these areas more saturated with ProDommes.
It's also difficult on this board to pin down those that live the kink lifestyle fulltime and those that are just (excuse the phrase) a hooker with a paddle. ProDommes have to advertise along with the escorts as individual cities do not have a specific kink advertising forum and another realm does not allow advertising.
I have lived the kink lifestyle for 12 years and only in the past couple of years allowing those on the board to know this.
I guess one final note is that in my ProDomme business, there is NOTHING illegal that happens and so "clandestine" boards are not necessary. I know one lovely ProDomme that has a giant window decal on the back of her car advertising her services and another that buys advertising in major mainstream magazines.
In markets that kink is well accepted and out in the open, many of the prodommes are known through their classes and seminars. They are well known in their community and often work solely on referrals.
I post on lifestyle websites and often get requests through those...had a family of siblings refer each other to me and then realize that they all were in the lifestyle! That was too much fun for me but nice to see the "you too?!" happen amongst them. I have only worked in other states I was already traveling to..ie visiting a friend in Ok then I saw a couple there, went to see my uncle in Alaska and saw contacts there...I have not found a sub that interested me so much as to travel to see them on their home turf... perhaps I will some day soon : )
Austin Domme "population" is definitely growing. When I moved to town, 3 years ago, I was the only lady advertising on the Eros BDSM section.
I knew that there were Dommes in the area who had retired, moved away etc. It was just a very quiet time for the prodomme industry in Austin.

Now they're coming out of retirement, moving back, and new ones are being "created" all the time. Austin is becoming a very active Domme area...not that business is increasing...just more ladies.

Luckily I snagged a couple really good clients before the influx, so I feel more comfortable that I'll have my cushion. However, I'm going to be traveling on a regular basis to explore more untapped markets (thank heavens for wonderful slaves with construction skills to build travel dungeon furniture!)

It seems like Dallas has twice the Dommes of Austin. I don't even try to do my dealings from there. Way too much competition. It's certainly not as prevalent as in NYC or Los Angeles, but I prefer a more relaxed environment. Competition can get really negative and I do ProDomme to be Happy!
