BP ad

There was a recent BP ad by uncle LEO that reported that IP addresses of anyone who "clicked" on the "BP Escort" link would be identified, tracked and saved by LE.

Is that possible, legal, and should most not ever click the link again?

Thanks for any help or responses

I wouldn't think it's illegal to "look" at an ad.

It's not illegal. It's not even illegal to contact an escort. The services advertise in the yellow pages, ffs.

Every website, server, message board, internet 'place' you go to logs your IP already, in fact it prolly logs your domain too. Unfortuntely that kind of stuff isn't private. There are some message boards where they have it showing your IP by default when you post, so everyone sees it, Unless you're looking at some fucked up shit like kid porn or serious things like that do you have to worry about Feds kicking in your door.
