Flickr's site let's you set your images to "private" which you're supposed to do if they are adult although if you browse through the public images you'll find plenty of porn that the posters haven't locked. You can also set a public image so it can't be downloaded. And you get 2 TB free storage so you can shoot RAW and store at full resolution. There are also some adult groups there that do allow semipublic displays of nudity.

Safe is for cats, rainbows, cars, etc. Restricted is for hardcore nudity, sexual acts, etc.
So if you wanted to make public a hardcore pic, you can, but it had better be marked restricted. That way only those who
choose to see hardcore will see it. If you were mistakenly mark it safe, and a little old lady, saw it, you'd be in big trouble.
A picture of a cat can be marked safe, but private. No one can see it. Or marked family, only those on your family list can see it. Or public, everyone can see it.
I tend to upload everything restricted/private, then change the settings once they've been uploaded. Reduces the chance of a slip up, or someone reporting you.
