Clear Lake area

Energy Corridor perhaps is good spot.

2nd the Woodlands. It's the nicest area in all of Houston, but probably not the best area due to it being so north of the City. Find a hotel you like and stay within the 8.

Just a friendly suggestion, pick a hotel that has free parking. I have found hotels that charge for parking are difficult to get to and require extra time to find parking or vallet. Ideally pick a hotel with easy on off the freeway and large parking lots.

They say that one should steer clear MOCO if pursuing the "hobby"
