Client screening

I just had an idea. I'm still very new so I wanted to see what you all thought...

When screening a potential client with no P411 or eccie account or for whatever reason is below your standard why not ask for a resume? I mean an actual work resume. Then call a random previous employer just to verify they exist.

As an additional layer of security, maybe cross reference a picture with a high school yearbook? (I'm thinking classmates.com)

In my area I find it difficult to stay busy with just the traffic eccie and P411 brings and I'm not in a position to start travelling.

Any other helpful ideas for me? It seems all rather big brotherish, but I don't want to spoil such a good thing with legal issues. I'm having a blast

I did do a free trial at verifyhim.com but I never found the search results to be very useful. Is there a more effective similar service out there?

Ill pm you some tips hun...but remember to be creative and only over time with trial and error will you find what works best for you.

First of all I don't think you will get many takers willing to send a resume, to risky. But if you do and just randomly call an employer and they verify I think that is a violation of some privacy acts. Don't get me wrong I know it happens, it just shouldn't. Safety is key but discretion is needed also.
