rail strike.....no

It looks like the government will have to step in and pass legislation to avert a nationwide rail strike. And they look ready to do so.

The cooling off period is ending, and no one seem interested in extending it. The railroads are an industry deemed vital to the nation, so the government can step in to settle the labor dispute.

Whoever has a lot of knowledge about unions and the right to strike may want to step in and give some background.

The topic: Is it a good thing the government can prevent a work stoppage of vital industries ? Or does that undermine their unions ?
No worries the government is here to fix the problem!

Yes you are correct, the unions own the democrats. It's contrary to union goals what the Biden administration is proposing, but for once in the Biden administration history they are doing something for the better of the country than there freebies and political allies.
The corrupt union bosses and the billionaire owners made the deal. The workers were denied an opportunity to use a threat of a strike to get a better deal on paid sick leave.Biden the self described pro union president screwed the rank and file and they got no paid sick leave. Railroads are less profitable because of Bidens war on energy All trains run on diesel which is at historic low inventories and the price has soared

And we're about to hit Atlas Shrugged levels here
