Who else is really tired of all the so called “Porn Star” Hyperbole?

I mean really, just because they’ve received compensation for performing in front of the camera only makes them "a professional" in it’s most simplest sense and does not by any stretch of the imagination make them a “STAR”. I’m thinking if they are or were earning a pretty damn good living doing it and their last name is say… Jamison, Hartley, Patrick, Linares, Grey, Haze, Belle, or perhaps some “homegrown” talent like Tegan Presley, Bree Olson, Syndee Steel, Rachel Starr, Jessica Drake, Rachel Roxxx, Jesse Jane aka Cindy Taylor and of course Alexis Texas, etc… then yeah, you are in fact a porn star.

Otherwise it seems to be nothing more to me than a ploy to charge premium rates for what often seems to be a less than a “porn star” caliber experience. Now if they want to call themselves porn stars and not change that rate premium fine, otherwise I’ve read many a steamy review from some of our local talent that puts the “so called” traveling porn star experience to shame. Just my .02… any other thoughts on this?? Posting it here in co-ed for some feedback from the ladies as well.

Agree. It all depends on what you get. I think you nailed it.

They should call themselves whatever they want, and set any rate they like. I can then choose not to pay it.

Everything is worth what its purchaser will pay for it.

That's the beauty of a free market system. As a seller, you can slap a label on yourself and charge what you wish. In turn, as a consumer, you read the label and choose to buy or move on to another product of your choosing.

Idk... But I like the homegrown list better than the star list.
Definitely a difference between doing porn , and being a star !
