Since VP's are not supposed to start threads in the welcome section I have moved this to COED.
Gina, a lot depends on your starting point and if you are driving. If driving from your normal home base of Cali then El Paso is a natural starting point. Then the Midland/Odessa area. You then can either head north to Lubbock and then Amarillo or continue east to Abilene.
You will want to look at a map since none of the main towns in West Texas are close to each other. Everything is at 1.75 hours apart.
Thanks CK ,, Ill be flying from Ca ..just looking around on where to go first or last
Ill take 4- 5days only all i can stand to be gone from my home lol
Dates im looking at are Nov 10-15 or 16\
El Paso not many upscale hotels I see ?( not a Motel Lady)
.. and Odessa has over priced ones lol ..
whats a Girl To Do ??? Gina
Midland/Odessa are high because of the oil boom. Maybe you should go to El Paso, then fly to Lubbock and rent a car to Amarillo. You could spend a few days in each town.
I do plan on it for sure .. What all that OIL and no 4star hotels .. wee 3star is like 250
but Im a shopper around so think I got it kinda worked out ,,
Kisses Gina ..
