The June 2011 Nielson study found that older viewers spent more time than other younger ones watching traditional television. Among 65+-year-olds, the average time spent over the course of the week studied was 49 hours, about twice the amount of time spent in front of a television by 12-to-17-year olds. The 25-to-34-year olds spent more time than other age groups watching video on the internet (57 minutes in a week). And 12-to-17-year olds spent the most time consuming video on their mobile phones, about 20 minutes during a week
