Recommended places to eat in Baton Rouge area?

Hey every one, I'm visiting the BR area and I'm looking where to eat.. I've tried parrains seafood yesterday, which was good, I like exploring good eateries so I'd love some ideas.. Any recommendations?

Someone just recommended tjs ban near lsu. Better than 2 Paul's!
TJ Ribs
Walk Ons sports bar
Burger Smith.. Filet Burger and Smith Fries.
Rotolos Pizza and Calzones .

Those are my usual .
I'll have to check it out
Louie's for breakfast, Gino's for Italian, Mike Anderson's, Bistro Byronz, French Market Bistro, & Chimes & Chimes East (for good food and meeting people/bar)- a bit lower level food, but better atmosphere/bigger bar area and owned by same folks who own Parrain's. Those are all local places as I am presuming you want places that aren't in every town you visit.

Burger is great .Get the filet burger .
Best steak in town is at '18 Steak' in L'Auberge casino! Just my opinion
It's pricy though!
Good Italian is "Little Villiage"

There are many good places here. Sullivan's Steakhouse, Strobees (sp). Trip advisor has a great list.

I mean guys Juban's and Mansur's - that's two of the top. If you're looking for fine dining. I'm disapointed in my brethren! Mike Andersons best seafood IMO - broiled seafood platter is spot on. Also, if want crawfish or laid back lunch Sammy's. And always Chimes on campus and plenty of nice sights.

Jasmine's on the Bayou is the best meal in town IMO.
