Have you?

Have you ever gone to an event with a client or provider, whether it's a pro game, a concert the horse races or whatever?
Is this crossing the unwritten boundary? I would be interested in hearing from you all.

There is an unwritten boundary in this business, RL does not mix too well with hobby life. There are times though when the client/provider line does become a little blurred simply due to the fact that the two find they have a lot in common other then BCD.

These things do happen but normally if you take a provider to an event you pay for her time she spends with you. After all, it is a business for providers.

I have gone to several Pro events and had a blast every time!

If we agree to BCD time afterwards or before...cool. If not, it's just a fun time with a friend!

I don't have a problem going to events, if my time is still being made up for. If not, i feel like it starts erasing the line between hobbyist/provider to friends... which dont get me wrong I am good friends with most of my clients but i wouldnt bring them into my real life.

I go out to random places including events with clients, I usually wear a loose dress that hides the belly to avoid awkward questions.

Well crap. I thought about this last Friday. I had an extra ticket to the Rangers game (fireworks night). I guess I should have posted here and see if there were any takers. I would have been cool with a session afterwords. Delayed intelligence...I ended up not going, cause I didn't want to go alone.
I have taken several ladies to events of one kind or another. But, they have all been ladies I have know for awhile. If its just some free time to spend together with no BCD, then I have never paid except for the outing expenses themselves. If BCD is likly, then we arrange a rate before hand to covet the extended outing.

Post in the ISO forum or sandbox. Worst is no one wants to go. Be very specific about what you want and if BCD is expcted or not
yes,I enjoy it and always look forward to what will be coming up after

There was an out of state client who is a HUGE Cowboys fan who used to post ISO threads looking for a provider to attend games with a session.

As far as I recall, he never was lacking for a date.

I have done it several times, paid for time and OTC time. Always had a great time and no problems afterwards.

Taken a friend or two to sporting events....it was always understood we'd do BCD after per our regular deal....I mean we'd do dinner, then hockey or baseball game, then BCD activities.

The main thing obviously, is to determine beforehand what is a paid activity and what is not... we always had a large time before and after.
I have done sporting events with ladies and I paid for food and the ticket. But each time we never did BCD cuz I was just out to enjoy the event and the company. Dont get me wrong BCD would have been welcomed but I was happy. Might be time do another event now that Football season is back Go Cowboys
