And we are still paying the price. The conservatives on the Supreme Court put Bush in. Then 9/11 happened. Bush started a senseless war with Iraq planned by his chicken hawks (Cheney et al) that weakened the economy all the while deregulating Wall street...and things went rapidly downhill from there.
It takes a while to undue all the damage done by Bush.

Stupid, gutless "regular" Republicans allowed themselves to be bullied by the Tea Partay Parrotriots and Evangelical Right instead of looking at a map and current demographics. It was a "feel good" farewell tour - right up until the election happened.

As far as The Supremes go, the need for an antidote to Sciala and Uncle Tom will be answered.
