Visiting College Station

Greetings my fellow ECCIITES!
I will be traveling up to College Station the last week of May (23-27) for a training. Training will be at TAMU. I am not familiar with the area and would like to get some feedback from you who might have stayed there or from some of the locals. What hotels would you all recommend I stay at? I am looking for something moderately priced from the $80-$100 price range and in a good area of town, preferably close to campus.

Thanks for your feedback.

Any hotel on University, with the exception of The Plaza (it's closed) will do the job. Close to campus, easy access to Highway 6, and all the restaurants you can handle.
I'm from Los Angeles and used to picking up from the street. Can someone point out where I can go in the BCS Area?

You don't want any SW's here jered....stick with this site or P411.
Thanks for the tip.I will Do that. But can you give me heads up where to go. I hear MLK but drove last might and nothing. I dont like the idea of waiting for these girls to come down.

If you really want a streetwalker, and it seems that is what you are intent on finding, I would say that you are in the wrong place. This site is not about street walkers, we are a safe and clean community here. This site is about people in the hobby community who reference, review, and network. Streetwalkers are a totally different ball of wax. Franlkly, you are more likely to be pinched trying to grab an SW in Aggieland.

Bryan/College Station has some SW's I am sure but myself and probably for the most part everyone else on this board have absolutely no interest in just picking up some random person on the side of the road. I suggest you give Craigslist a try if you are that open and available. To each his own, but again, if that is your game, this site probably is not for you.

All of us tend to be a bit more discretionary here and work really hard to build our community to be as safe and as friendly as possible.

Good luck and thanks for stopping by!

No judgements being made but as a practical matter it's not worth the effort in BCS. Arrest risk is high, availability is low, and quality is terrible. Once in a while I've seen, but not picked up, a SW on MLK or the north end of Echols in Bryan.

FWIW I happened to be out last night so a bit after midnight I passed by on MLK and sure enough there was a SW on MLK. She was where I've most often seen others, off of 21 going east for the first few blocks. It was too dark to get a good enough look to report much more than that.
Well put sweetie

Um... then why do most of the major cities on this forum have a specific section devoted to the "other" types of encounters??? IE: Walkers?

There is a walker community here... it just doesn't seem to be prevalent in this area.

Keep asking for what you seek for. Someone will chime in with the answer.

Then maybe a mod should move it to the right section. *wink*
Can we get back on topic ..... thanks

I would suggest staying anywhere on University as well. Good area, reasonable rates and easy to walk to places.
Thank you Aria.
