Sudden Exit: The GOP’s Rising Star Leaves Congress

It is nice to know not all of the Republicans are dishonest or all sheep. Most of them, but not all of them. Rep. Mike Gallagher would not vote to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. He knew after Trump give the order to not pass a bipartisan Bill in Congress so if he is not in jail during the election and if he happens to win, he can be the hero and save the country at the borders.

Rep. Mike Gallagher, a prominent figure in Republican politics, has faced a sudden shift in his career trajectory.

Despite being viewed as a rising star, he recently decided not to seek re-election.

This decision followed a contentious encounter during a House vote, where he stood against the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, leading to backlash from fellow Republicans.

The move to retire is seen as a reflection of broader dysfunction within the GOP and Congress as a whole, with an increasing number of members opting to leave due to concerns about the institution’s ability to function effectively.

Mike put America first. Not Politics.

either that or maybe the deep state was controlling his vote and he decided to leave rather than be owned by a shadow government
.. Or the other way... He knew he'd be facing a primary
challenger next time... A more conservative fellow who'd
no doubt take the seat away from him.

... Thanks for yer service there, Mike... Walmart is hiring...

Actually Rep. Mike Gallagher, Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger along with a few other honest Republicans do not like what is going on both in there party. Both the Senate and in Congress. That is why Mitt Romney is not running anymore. He is also hanging it up. Republican Congressmen are out of control. All Trump Sheep.
