First Time In Baton Rouge

This is my first visit in town and so far everything has been great! During my free time I do find myself a little bored and wanted to know where can I go. I have been to the casinos already, but besides that is there anything else I can do with my free time? Are there any nice swingers clubs where mzluvly and I can attend? Back at home I am into the swingers partiespartiescl clubs, bars, and upscale parties. Also, since Louisiana is known for amazing seafood I am also seeking a nice restaurant where I can receive some of the best alligator in town mmmmmmmmmm. I was directed to Sammy's and have tried there food and it was great but alligator was only served as an appetizer. Someone guide me to the right places, and all of the fun!!!!

No swingers clubs that I know about. Mike Anderson's and the Chimes are always good choices for dining. Baton Rouge is a great town but not really a tourist city. You've tried the casinos. There is a mall and a lot of shopping choices but I'm sure you have those back home.

This is a great town to live but not the center of excitement.

Hi SH, welcome to BR. I would have seen you and MzLuvly by now but my sorry butt is still on the shelf, maybe next month. Alligator entrees are hard to find but you may find some alligator sauce picante in mom and pop restaurants or make it yourself in a crock pot.

Not a lot of action here unless you like music. Texas Club is nice if you like country. Willie Nelson is there tonight I think. Varsity Theatre has quite a few great acts. Spanish Moon is pretty popular and Thursday ladies drink free until 10 pm.

Restaurant - Jubans, Mansurs, Louisiana Lagniappe, Tony's.

Tell Vickie hi and maybe next month doc will cut me loose.

I have also heard amazing things about Mike Anderson's and have that on my to do list before I leave town Saturday. As for the casinos, I have done my share of donations while I have been here (no mas) lol

As far as alligator, you'll usually only find it as an appetizer. We don't have alligator as part of our regular diet, mostly. If you want very nice, I agree with the above restaurants: mansurs, jubans, Louisiana lagniappe. If you want nice casual: parrains or the chimes. Mike andersons is very good as well but I find it a bit pricey and way too crowded for what it is. My overall vote for seafood is Parrains, you can't go wrong there.
