Anyone watch the launch today? Looked like a flawless launch and they recovered the booster by landing on the drone ship. This afternoon the astronauts gave a tour of the inside of the Dragon Capsule, and it looks pretty big inside compared to the old capsules we used to have. Designed to carry up to 7 people. Modern panel displays, a la Tesla.

Sometimes I think Elon Musk is about half crazy. Well, maybe 10% crazy. But he's definitely one of the most creative, innovative people in technology today. He's had some bumps along the way, like being behind on Tesla production for a while, but he's pulled off some stuff that established companies could not. Rather amazing, actually.

I watched the launch with so much pride in being an American.
Don’t have to hitch a ride with Russia anymore.

Musk is way more than 10% crazy. But that's what makes him able to do some of the things that he can do. But he could do them better if he weren't quite as crazy.

imho, some of it is his persona (crazy, egoist, etc) and his thinking about doing stuff that ithers arent doing.
but most of it is because he's got a bazillion bucks he can spend on spacex w/ hope of a decent return down the line.

he's def not doing it cos it's cool or fun.

Perhaps the word is "Creative" - and Musk certainly is that.

Glad the launch went well and safely ferried our astronauts to the ISS.

Congratulations to elon musk on the achievement.

Musk (with money) is a nut job, he wants to "leave " the plant because of climate change "look it up"
