What are the good areas to stay in Pensacola? I've never visited FL and I'm really excited! Also plan to visit Miami I'll take any suggestions ( good part of town, shopping, bars)

I prefer the beach. I like the music at Paradise. Honey Island Swamp Band from NOLA is playing Easter Sunday afternoon.
Capt Fun, Bamboo Willie's, Sandshaker, Flounders are all close by. Dress is light and very casual.
Downtown along Palafox starting a Vinyl Music Hall and heading South has lots of options. More dressy.
For hotels/motels, again, my vote is the beach or Gulf Breeze.
For a less crowded and friendly change of pace, take the drive down the beach to Navarre.
Miami is a whole different animal. I would look to stay in Kendall or Doral.
