Glad to have you visit Winter. Santa Fe is a great city to visit with lots to see. NM has many beautiful landscapes and outdoor adventure things to do. In Albuquerque the is a tram that travels to the top of the Sandia mountain. I guess it all depends on what you are interested in. Hope you have a wonderful stay here with many happy returns!

Hotels near the airport are safe but the area around them can be rough. Avoid hotels on Central because of crime, especially Central and Tramway. I would also avoid hotels close to I40 & I25 interchange.
Hotels off of I25 and north of Montano/Montgomery are generally safe.
Hotel circle is nice and is close to restaurants and shopping but the hotels are a little more expensive.
Getting a players club card at any casino will get you a discount but the casinos are outside of town.

Winter, please come to Albuquerque! Hotels near uptown area are safe with lots of shopping and restaurants. Hope to see you soon!
