Password change?

Got a message saying password is 180 days old and must be changed when I signed in today. What's up with that ?

Let me ask an admin about it. I thought that feature was a mistake and was turned off. Guess not. I'll get back with you.

I guess the password thing is not a mistake. I suppose the admins enabled it for some type of security measure.
