SCOTUS: Only police lives matter

Police Shootings Stir Outrage Among Some, But Not The Supreme Court

"The majority today exacerbates that troubling asymmetry. Its decision is not just wrong on the law; it also sends an alarming signal to law enforcement officers and the public. It tells officers that they can shoot first and think later, and it tells the public that palpably unreasonable conduct will go unpunished. Because there is nothing right or just under the law about this, I respectfully dissent."

I 2nd that.

If you have a weapon of sort, knife, gun, and they say to drop that weapon and you don't its a real good possibility you may get shot

Yep and yep.

I believe that the Supreme Court has ruled far too often against our liberties when giving law enforcement rights over the citizen.

While I have respect for law enforcement, I do not have any trust in them at all.
It is no wonder that so many people refuse to talk to law enforcement.

An Officer drives up and a women is hacking at a tree with a kitchen knife. My first thought would be she's a bit nuts. Any officer would be inclined to approach her and investigate why she would be behaving in that manner and I also think its reasonable to command her to drop the knife. Its pretty difficult to say what the Officers perspective is just based on that article, but a goofy bitch with a knife who refuses to give it up good chance I would shoot her too. At this time I am calling justified shooting.

Apples to oranges? No need for semantics. Two different circumstances. Do you understand Kid?

The law is the law. I disagree with it.

I'm still outraged.

you go outside with a large kitchen knife and start chopping on a tree in your front yard and when the police show up, don't drop it when told to.

when Ginsberg kicks the bucket Trump will appoint a conservative judge .. again.

remember that it was Harry Reid and the demotards who stonewalled Bush's right as sitting president to appoint new justice yeah?
where was the outrage then? when Obama got the "Harry Reid rule" shoved up his ass you all ran around like it was a travesty.

payback is always painful. Trump made the pick, not Obama.
