We are all randomly born into this world...if some lefty doesn't abort you. You didn't get a choice on when or where. So if you had 60 seconds to choose a new life because this one is ending...which class of person would you be and what your circumstances (location, war, no war, dictatorship, etc.) The time is now not historic.

Example: you want to be a black NBA player in the USA.

Most politicians, left and right, have similar play books to achieving their goals. So the comparison to Hitler is very disingenuous and foolish. It demonstrates the weakness of their argument that the left has to dust off that old boogie man Hitler. Unlike so many tyrants, Hitler followed the rules and achieved power legitimately just like Trump, Obama, Bill, and Reagan. It's what each of them did with that power that differentiates one from another. Were they honest with their followers what their ultimate goals were? In the cases of Trump, Bill, and Reagan...yes. Obama and Hitler misled their followers. Did the respect the system that got them there when they took office? Trump and Reagan both colored inside the lines constitutionally though the left vehemently disagreed with their goals. Bill, Obama, and Hitler stepped over the lines repeatedly by using government apparatus to investigate, intimidate, and to tear down the legitimacy of their political rivals. Hitler removed the system entirely. Obama expressed the idea on many occasions that he wished he could do the same; he openly wished that we had a more Chinese form of government, he called our constitution a list of suggestions that got in the way of making real change, and his subordinates were a number of political radicals with even worse views on individual freedoms.

Liberals don't have a near monopoly on the media. What is media? Any resource of credible information. But, then again, it doesn't have to be credible. Anyone can be a "source". If being open to the disenfranchisement view is liberal, then I would agree it is a near monopoly. But with the advent of podcasts and the like, it's hard to say one view has a monopoly.
