State Street Rochester

Does anyone remember the name of the strip Club that was on State near Water St. in the 70's and 80,s? It was one of the few competitions the Pussycat on main had.

Thats it!!!! I loved the sliver Fox . Do you remember the owner? She had long straight hair. Might have even been silver blonde like.

He died and then she got Allen club
So many adult entertainment clubs in the 80’s. Mayor Morality killed a bunch.

Those were the days…. Packed clubs, live bands 7 nights a week, massage parlors all over town(non-Asian) . Although at times, it was a scene out of the sopranos…Night Life and women were a plenty!

Joey Manuel,s (now Joeys) was on main st a stones throw from the Pussycat. (back when strip clubs had some class.)
The parking lot was behind it on Richmond st. Small place with a pool table. A popular place for pool sharks. You would remember it if you hung out there.

it had ahem meeting rooms free, girl ask. money on bar she'd get her candy over-n-on the bar. take ya to meeting room where she do what wanted for more candy.. girls kite flying but never jon.....

I hung at Sutter's Mill on Main a bunch in the late 70's. Once I moved out of Roch., when I was in town, I would always try to go there to say hi to old friends and especially the owner, Big Bobby Pellegrino. After he closed closed down Sutter's and moved into Joey's, I made it a point to visit every time I could. I don't know if they still own it, but his sons, Little Bob and Ronny took it over when he retired out to Vegas. Big Bob passed in 2011, but I was so happy to have known him. He not only filled a room with his physical size, but also his huge personality. He was a blast to party with!
