What kind of provider to hobbyist communication do you prefer?

Greetings!

I have been wondering something for a while and what better time to post it right?! Lol

When a provider you have seen before reaches out to you, in what way do you prefer she contact you? Mass emails? Group email updates? Private pm? No contact?

I don't feel comfortable sending mass emails or other communication, nor do I really feel comfortable reaching out to "touch base" with anyone . The first and only time I did do it (to let a few gents know about an addition to my menu) it didn't go well at all! Lol

On the other end, some gents may prefer receiving personal emails or texts out of the blue from a lady they have seen before, keeping up GFE rapport. I often wonder how this or that person is doing but I wouldn't dare bother them out of the blue to ask. Is that weird? Lol

Maybe I'm behind the curve on this one since I haven't discussed it much with anyone but I have wondered about it often.

I prefer e-mail since I check it more often than I do my hobby phone for text messages. 2nd preference would be PM on here or P411. I only get my hobby phone out of hiding when I am going to set up a session.

First, you have to know what you're trying to achieve. A mass e-mail, PM, or text will, necessarily have an entirely different, impersonal feel about it than one that's being directed to an individual. I can see how an e-mail of the nature you described might not be welcomed -- it mixes the personal and the commercial in a way that some guys, myself included, might find disconcerting. If you want to change your menu, it's best to do it in a commercial medium (ads) as opposed to a personal one (e-mail).

Many guys want no contact unless they initiate it or you are responding to them, so you probably should check if in doubt. On the other hand, I'm one of those PLs who doesn't have many friends and whose sole source of intimacy is the hobby. While I'm very well aware of the nature of my relationships, and the limitations on them, the IOP doesn't have to end when the door hits my ass on the way out. A little personal attention, if only viewed as client-retention tactics -- a personal note expressing a desire to see me again, or one referring to something that we talked about, or just asking how I'm doing -- would go a long way toward ensuring a repeat visit. But then again, those from whom I'd love to receive such communications are already getting my repeat visits, so there's very little business upside for them.

As to the medium, I think the only assumption you can make about safety is that a PM is okay. Most of us have hobby e-mail addresses that are secure, but, if you have any doubts about whether to send something to one, ask. Never assume that a phone number is appropriate for unsolicited messages; always check.

Personally, I'm ok with a 1-1 PM or 1-1 email - I never turn my hobby phone on except for days I'm meeting. You can probably figure out how to do a mass mailing without tipping me off, but if I wasn't gullible, I wouldn't be here.

Eccie PMs are best for me, especially if it is someone I have seen. It is kind of nice to think that somebody might be interested in seeing me specifically.
