Initially I thought that was very unlikely, but after the FBI confidential informant report came out fingering him, I might have been in the "Say it ain't so Joe" camp if I were a Democrat. The informant, Alexander Smirnov, was later accused of lying by the Department of Justice and is being prosecuted.
