The spreader bar looks fun. It's on my list. Saran wrap sounds interesting too, especially about holding a toy in place. I think my mind would be too focused on wasting plastic though. lol

Yea ya can't reuse it. LOL

So ya don't have to by stack in wrap have your partner bring their own.

I have all sorts of different restraints to use on my SO. This was my recent purchase. I surprised her with it on her birthday. Its a lot of fun. Just a bit of a challenge to put on. Once shes in it, though. Shes not getting out until we're both satisfied. .

I did have a provider once tell me about thier experience using saran wrap. They enjoyed it as it didnt leave any marks on them. But make sure you have a small sharp exacto knife to cut the saran wrap off when your finished.

I have a pretty versatile palate. When I'm playing in the Domme role, my choices are heavily influenced by my sub's preference since the object is the session is to elicit the reaction I'm seeking from them - some level of mood matching is necessary at the start of the session in order to bring them onto my level. When I allow myself to submit, I expect the same observation and consideration (which is why I rarely do, lol).

That said, I'm generally into rope on my personal time. It's time consuming yes, but it's meditative for me. Even alone I play with rope, and so I have plenty of rope-wrapped dowels as spreaders, and finished macrame cuffs that I've made over the years to keep my hands busy while I'm dreaming of the beautiful people I'd like to get into them, lol. There are a few people in this lifestyle that I bring my rope skills to, but of course with the patience required I tend to only break it out when I know that the depth of interest is shared... nothing sinks my heart faster than a bored sub!

For sessions where other aspects of play are meant to take center stage, I have a sizeable collection of leather restraints for the quick and dirty My favorite (right now) are my over the door suspension cuffs - on a well constructed doorway, they're good to 350lbs... which is important to me as I like to work my subs into absolute exhaustion and leave them hanging there

I love my spreader bar off amazon!
This resonates with me. Being tied up is such a soothing and grounding experience. And I appreciate that for a top, rope bondage requires artistry as well as patience.

A recommendation and a caution ... go to the U-Haul store and get their plastic wrap. It comes in a couple of different sizes and both work well.

An exacto knife was mentioned above. Watch out for using these sharps. Rather, get bandage scissors. they will cut the plastic wrap, ropes, and cloth wraps. And they're designed, not to harm the patient. They are also important in case your partner starts to freak out from the binding and you need to act quickly.

For any over the door jab device, those things can and have pulled the door trim off. I simply wouldn't use those unless you're quite confident of the door trim. This rules out hotels.
One of the doms Ive made things for and I designed a portable A-frame thing.

Also, repeating the comment just above about knives to cut bandage things, no, and no again. Always heavy scissors, not any knife. There's so many safety issues that simply has to be a flat simple no. A good pair of sheet metal scissors goes an through leather quickly.
I appreciate your insights. Perhaps using bed restraints would make more sense when playing at a hotel. A four-point hogtie with ankle and wrist cuffs also makes for a good time.

And ditto regarding not using a knife to release a bottom who's restrained with rope or saran wrap. How horrible would it be to end up cutting someone and doing serious harm. Most online stores that sell quality bondage gear also sell safety scissors.

Thanks dear
