AMP Experience

So, I have been thinking about the massage parlor experience. I mention it to hobbiests, I know. When I travel, I often seek it out.

I think that some hobbiests wonder why so I thought I would write about the collective AMP experience that I have encountered and why I continue to seek new experiences.


Keep in mind, that I have encountered all of these aspects. Unfortunately, I can't say that I have had one experience that encompassed it all.

First, you can walk-in. For some of us, planning ahead just does not work. We work to create a busy schedule while traveling and we often travel with colleagues. It does not always work to schedule a 5:15 appointment.

That is where AMP's (Asian Massage Parlors) are perfect. I found myself with a cancelled appointment and a few hours to kill. I was walking down the street and I notice, Lotus Massage. Other than an appointment that was rescheduled my day was going well and I needed to unwind. The converse works well with a great AMP experience. If you are stressed, it can lighten the load.

I walk into the AMP and I am greeted by a Mamasan. Here is where your experience can deviate. A good Mamasan will usher you in and welcome you. A bad Mamasan will herd you to a room and mumble something unintelligible about disrobing. A Mamasan will collect the house fee which is usually some amount for 30 minutes or one hour. Either good or bad that is a constant. Again, the good Mamasan does it in a way that is engaging.

But a proper AMP experience involves the selection. You walk into another larger room or the ladies are brought before you.

A good selection will start with 5 ladies but some can increase to 10 - 15. At this point, you are selecting the lady who will provide your massage. Think, kid in a candy store. All ladies are attractive, you are selecting based on your likes and dislikes. And the ladies want to be selected, they will make eye contact with you and flirt - never say a word but they will flirt a bit with their eyes.

After you select your lady (or two). When selecting two, you should specify this upfront with the Mamasan. The house will charge double their house rate. Some places may offer a 4 hand rate at a discount but it is always more.

After your selection, your lady will make small talk but the next great sign on a hour massage is when you are asked for a table shower.

A table shower is just that, you are brought to a shower area, laid on table and warm water is ladled on you. Your masseuse will work to keep your hair dry but every other part of your body is washed.

You start laying on your back. Water is ladled on you and you are scrubbed. And you are scrubbed well. A good table shower will leave you clean. The masseuse will clean everywhere. You will find that most will clean between the cheeks. This can be a bit unnerving at first but if you relax it feels good.

And then the flip, this is the first flip. Here you will have the shower continue, your shoulders and chest and abdomen will be cleaned and then...

Your first sign will appear. If things are going will, junior will be at attention, your lady will be in a lovely and sheer robe, and junior will receive a thorough cleaning. It feels great. It is both erotic and efficient. Your legs are washed and then normally you are asked to stand where the masseuse will rinse - everywhere again, including junior.

Here is another time that can be fun, your masseuse will kneel and be close to you as she stands up her head may "bump" junior.

Next, you are asked to take a quick sauna. I am not a fan and I have never had my masseuse join me, this seems like a waste but I think that the point is to warm you.

Next you return to the room and the massage begins. Now, you may negotiate the ladies tip at this point. Sometimes, you will negotiate the whole fee when brought to the room (and not collected by the Mamasan). Sometimes you negotiate on the flip.

On one of my best experiences, the gal told me what the entire rate was $60 at the beginning and then I was taken to the shower and worked through an amazing experience.

Now remember about the thorough cleaning. Well when the massage starts, the masseuse will normally start with the shoulders and work her way down.She may do things like "stand on you" and work their feet on your back. All of that is great as it relaxes you. The one event that blew my mind was when the masseuse during the first part of the massage used her tongue between my cheeks. Looking back, I can see why her her earlier cleaning was so thorough.

During a massage like this, you don't worry about how it will end. But if you have not negotiated a price and you are still waiting for the flip, you can get a sense. As you lay on your stomach, junior is probably at attention. I will often move junior so that he is exposed to air. He needs to breathe. As the masseuse moves down your back across your butt and to your legs, a great sign is whether she will dally at junior and give him a bit of a taste.

To the point that you can arch your back, come to your knees and allow much more access. This is a great way to indicate that you are expecting more.

Which is another point, I have chatted with masseuses afterwards and they generally over the advice to be a bit "handsy" during the massage. If a masseuse is in front of you working your shoulders, this is a good time to reach over and touch her. Remember that the point is not to molest her but to show your attentions.

Groping can include touching the thighs. Politely touching the breasts, grabbing the butt - again, the point is to show her that you want more than the massage. I suspect that there are still unsuspecting walk-ins that don't realize about extras. I have also started bringing reading materials to the room. When the Mamasan drops you off, you can find yourself waiting. I have started to either bring an adult magazine or start an adult movie on my phone. Again,it is a sign to the lady that more is expected. I have also found that most masseuses love porn.

The flip, there are 2 kinds of flips. One is the fun flip, you flip and the masseuse acts surprised that junior is standing upright, Maybe the towel falls off. She giggles and acts like she has never seen that before. She touches junior and now the negotiating happens. This is not so much an upsell as it is a discussion of services that are ala carte.

Services range from hj, bj to fs. This is where things can fall down a bit. The focus of the masseuse is generally to end the massage. They will work hard to ensure that you leave relieved but things can be a bit mechanical. If you negotiate fs, you will generally have multiple positions available. But AMP's are clock watchers and you will generally leave at or near the end of the discussed time. I have heard of AMP's that offer MSOG but I have never experienced.

At a nice AMP, you will be ushered gracefully to the door and perhaps offered a bottle of water.

When done right, it can be an amazing experience. When done wrong, you are some naked dude on a table with small towel covering you and just waiting, awkward.

I would be curious as to who else has had similar experiences.

I recently had a very nice AMP experience that was superb while traveling back east. Otherwise it's been in Dallas, Oklahoma and Denver and they have all been great, just as you described, with various ranges also as you described.

I love it! It's so nice to be pampered and given so much attention and to put yourself in someone else's hands, yes, literally.

I can't add much to what you have described other than to say that really only once did I pick from a line up of about 8 girls. What a fantastic time that was!

So I am guessing the Lotus AMP is not in NE. Seems more like Dallas.

Oh, 12Blue4u, it is not and Lotus is not the right name. It was a massage parlor that existed at 2nd and Howard in San Francisco.

As great as the selection was, no table shower. Again, it would be great to find that perfect experience from start to finish.

And while SF has many AMP's they are all not the same... Be wary.

I know when I've had a great AMP experience when I can still taste garlic three hours later, eventhough I never went down on her.
