But I agree, the shutdown of backpage, craigslists forums, all have caused a huge blow in people wishing to partake in the hobby, and probably hurt more sex workers than it helped.

Legalization is the only way to even start controlling a black market, we see that in the legalization of once black market products in this country, such as alcohol during prohibition, and other formerly verboten items.
