Yeah, Christmas in the Oaks is nice. Up until a few years ago, we used to take the kids to Lakeside Mall to ride the Christmas train every year. They're too big for that now. Down the bayou in Montegut, they have a Christmas Boat Parade down Bayou Terrebonne that the kids enjoy. Just park a truck or trailer, get an ice chest of beer, a barbecue pit, and good to go. All of the boats are full of lights and decorations and of course Santa is on one of the boats.

Hey Dallas,
Ever been to the Roosevelt Hotel? SO and I went through the lobby to Sazerac bar and it was awesome. At Christmas, it would be a great place for a meet and greet. The characters in the bar are pretty cool too.
